This 7,000 lb electric trailer brake provides reliable stopping power for trailers equipped with 5-bolt brake flanges and 12"x2" drum brakes. Designed to fit axles rated from approximately 5,200 lb up to 7,000 lb, these assemblies mount easily on trailers with a five-hole pattern and are available individually as left-hand or right-hand units, or as a complete paired set for both sides of your trailer.
Each bake arrives fully assembled with brake shoes, springs, and magnets already installed on the backing plate, simplifying replacement or upgrade jobs. The self-adjusting design automatically maintains proper shoe-to-drum contact during use, reducing the need for manual adjustment and helping secure consistent braking performance over time.
This brake set is compatible with a range of popular trailer axles from major manufacturers and is suited to utility trailers, boat trailers, camper trailers, and more that require a have-duty electric brake solution. For added convenience, you can purchase a single brake, a matched pair, or bundle them with matching drums, including 7K drums with an 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern (available with 1/2", 9/16", or 5/8" studs or 6K drums with a 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern with 1/2" studs, allowing you to build a complete, ready to install braking system in one order.
