Product Overview:
Replace worn brake shoes on your 3,500 lb trailer axle with this Dexter 10" x 2-1/4" Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Shoe & Lining Kit. Designed for Dexter 3.5K electric trailer brakes, this pair includes both the left-hand and right-hand replacement shoe kits needed to service both brake assemblies on one axle. The left side uses K71-681-00, while the right side uses K71-682-00.
The Nev-R-Adjust design automatically maintains proper shoe-to-drum clearance during normal brake operation, helping reduce the need for repeated manual brake adjustments as the linings wear. These kits are specifically designed for 10" x 2-1/4" electric brakes used on 3,500 lb Dexter axle applications.
Each side includes a primary shoe, side-specific secondary shoe, hold-down spring cups, and hold-down pins. Replacing the brake shoes on both sides of the axle helps maintain balanced braking performance when servicing worn friction components. Dexter recommends replacing both shoes on each brake and both brakes on the same axle when replacement is necessary.
