PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Replace a worn electric brake magnet with the Dexter K71-104-00 Trailer Brake Magnet Kit. Designed for compatible Dexter 10" electric trailer brakes, this green-wire magnet kit fits both 10" x 2-1/4" 3,500 lb brake applications and 10" x 1-1/2" 3,000 lb brake applications.
The kit includes the 042-140-00 Magnet Assembly with green wire, 046-080-00 Magnet Spring, and 027-009-00 Retaining Clip. These components provide the replacement magnet hardware used in compatible Dexter electric brake assemblies, allowing the magnet to be serviced without replacing the complete brake assembly when the remaining brake components are still serviceable.
For correct fitment, verify your Dexter brake size before ordering. The K71-104-00 is designed for 10" x 1-1/2" and 10" x 2-1/4" electric brakes and uses the green-wire magnet configuration. Dexter's service documentation lists one magnet per kit.
