Replace a worn brake magnet with the Dexter K71-378-00 Electric Trailer Brake Magnet Kit. Designed specifically for Dexter 12-1/4" electric brake assemblies in the 7.2K-15K range manufactured after June 1992, this kit provides the magnet and retaining components needed for compatible heavy-duty trailer brake service.
The kit includes the 042-131-00 magnet assembly with red/black wire, along with the 046-117-00 magnet spring and 027-050-00 magnet retainer. These components provide a direct replacement for the corresponding magnet hardware used in compatible Dexter 12-1/4" electric brake assemblies.
Designed for brake maintenance and repair, the K71-378-00 allows the magnet components to be replaced without purchasing an entire brake assembly when the remaining brake components are still serviceable.
