Product Overview:
Replace or service your 6,000 lb trailer axle hub with the Dexter K08-213-2G 6K Pre-Greased Idler Hub Kit. Designed for 6K trailer axle applications using a #42 spindle, this complete idler hub assembly features a 6 on 5.5" wheel bolt pattern and six 1/2"-20 wheel studs. The bearings and seal come installed and pre-greased with Dexter grease, reducing preparation time and mess during hub replacement.
The hub uses a 25580 inner bearing and 15123 outer bearing, matched with a 25520 inner race and 15245 outer race. The included 010-036-00 double-lip grease seal measures 2.250" ID x 3.376" OD and provides the sealing configuration used with this #42 spindle application.
The K08-213-2G also includes both standard and E-Z Lube® grease caps, an E-Z Lube® rubber plug, six 60-degree cone wheel nuts, and spindle retention hardware including a slotted nut, retainer nut, hex nut, D-washer, washer, and cotter pin. The complete pre-greased assembly is ready for installation on compatible E-Z Lube® or standard grease-lube #42 spindle applications.
