Product Overview:
Replace or service your 3,500 lb trailer axle hub with the Dexter K08-248-1G 3.5K Pre-Greased Idler Hub Kit. Designed for compatible 3.5K trailer axle applications using a #84 spindle, this complete hub assembly features a 5 on 4.5" wheel bolt pattern and 1/2"-20 wheel studs. Dexter identifies the K08-248-1G specifically with this 3.5K, #84 spindle configuration.
The kit uses an L68149 inner bearing and L44649 outer bearing with a 1.72" double-lip grease seal. Dexter's pre-greased hub kits are supplied with the bearings and seal installed and pre-greased, allowing the hub to be installed directly from the box with less bearing preparation and cleanup.
The K08-248-1G includes both standard and E-Z Lube® grease caps, an E-Z Lube® rubber plug, five 60-degree cone wheel nuts, and spindle retention hardware including a retainer nut, hex nut, slotted nut, D-washer, washer, and cotter pin. This retail-packaged kit provides the components required for compatible standard grease-lube and E-Z Lube® hub installations.
