Product Overview:
Replace or service your heavy-duty trailer hub and drum assembly with the Dexter K08-219-2G 5.2K-7K Pre-Greased Hub & Drum Kit. Designed for trailer axle applications using a #42 spindle, this complete assembly features an 8 on 6.5" wheel bolt pattern, 9/16"-18 wheel studs, and a 12" x 2" brake drum configuration. Dexter lists this kit for 5.2K-7K capacity applications.
The assembly comes pre-greased with a 25580 inner bearing and 14125A outer bearing, matched with a 25520 inner race and 14276 outer race. A 2.25" double-lip grease seal helps retain grease around the bearing assembly, while the pre-lubricated configuration reduces the preparation required during installation.
The K08-219-2G includes both a standard grease cap and an E-Z Lube® grease cap with rubber plug, eight 60-degree cone wheel nuts, and multiple spindle retention components including a retainer nut, hex nut, slotted nut, D-washer, washer, and cotter pin. This provides the hardware needed to accommodate common Dexter #42 spindle configurations while replacing the hub and drum assembly.
