Product Overview:
Replace or service your 3,500 lb trailer axle hub and drum assembly with the Dexter K08-249-2G 3.5K Pre-Greased Hub & Drum Kit. Designed for 3.5K trailer axle applications using a #84 spindle, this complete assembly features a 5 on 5.5" wheel bolt pattern, 1/2"-20 wheel studs, and a 10" x 2-1/4" brake drum configuration. Dexter supplies the kit with pre-greased inner and outer bearings to reduce preparation time and mess during hub and drum replacement.
The assembly uses an L68149 inner bearing and L44649 outer bearing, matched with an L68111 inner race and L44610 outer race. The included 010-019-00 double-lip grease seal measures 1.719" ID x 2.565" OD, providing the correct sealing configuration for this #84 spindle hub and drum assembly.
The K08-249-2G also includes both standard and E-Z Lube® grease caps, an E-Z Lube rubber plug, five 60-degree cone wheel nuts, and spindle retention hardware including a slotted nut, retainer nut, hex nut, D-washer, washer, and cotter pin. Dexter lists the kit for both E-Z Lube® and standard grease-lube configurations.
