Replace or service your light-duty trailer hub with the Dexter K08-259-1G 2.2K Pre-Greased Idler Hub Kit. Designed for compatible 2,200 lb trailer axle applications using a BTR 1-1/16" spindle, this complete idler hub assembly features a 5 on 4.5" wheel bolt pattern, 1/2"-20 wheel studs, and a 5-1/2" hub flange diameter. It is designed for use with 8" to 12" trailer wheels.

The K08-259-1G uses L44649 bearings in both the inner and outer positions, with matching L44610 races. The bearings and 010-009-00 double-lip grease seal are supplied installed and pre-greased, reducing the bearing preparation required during hub replacement. The grease seal measures 1.500" ID x 1.987" OD.

The kit includes both standard and E-Z Lube® grease caps, an E-Z Lube® rubber plug, wheel nuts, and spindle retention hardware for compatible installations. Dexter lists the hub for use with both E-Z Lube® and standard Grease Lube configurations, making it suitable for replacement on compatible 2.2K idler axle setups.
