PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Replace or service your trailer brakes with the Dexter K23-464-00 / K23-465-00 Nev-R-Adjust® Electric Brake Assemblies. Designed for 7,000 lb trailer axle applications, these complete brake assemblies feature a 12" x 2" brake size and 5-hole mounting configuration. K23-464-00 is the left-hand / driver's-side assembly, while K23-465-00 is the right-hand / passenger-side assembly.
Dexter's Nev-R-Adjust® forward self-adjusting system automatically maintains brake shoe clearance during forward braking as the brake linings wear. This reduces the routine manual adjustment required with traditional electric drum brakes while helping maintain proper brake adjustment over time.
Each brake is supplied as a complete, retail-boxed electric brake assembly with the brake shoes, magnet, springs, adjuster mechanism, and backing plate already assembled. Dexter lists mounting hardware as included with both K23-464-00 and K23-465-00. Choose a single left-hand assembly, single right-hand assembly, one LH/RH pair for one axle, or two LH/RH pairs for two axles.
These assemblies are intended for compatible 7K trailer axle applications using 12" x 2" electric drum brakes and a matching 5-hole brake flange. Dexter also identifies the K23-464/465 assemblies with its D70/TF12 applications and #42 spindle configuration.
