PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Replace a worn brake magnet on compatible Dexter 12" x 2" electric trailer brakes with the Dexter K71-105-00 Brake Magnet Kit. Designed for 5,200 lb and 6,000 lb brake applications, this genuine Dexter replacement kit provides the magnet and retaining components needed to service the electric brake magnet without replacing the complete brake assembly.
The kit includes the 042-149-00 Magnet Assembly and 027-009-00 Magnet Retainer, along with two different magnet springs to accommodate brake configurations from different production periods. The 046-080-00 Magnet Spring is specified for brakes manufactured before 7/16, while the 046-175-00 Magnet Spring is specified for brakes manufactured after 7/16.
Designed specifically for Dexter 12" x 2" 5.2K and 6K electric brakes, the K71-105-00 provides the correct replacement components for brake magnet service and maintenance.
