Product Overview:
Service the wheel bearings on your 2,000 lb trailer axle with the Dexter K71-715-00 Bearing & Seal Kit. Designed for compatible Dexter 2K axle applications using a 1" BT8 spindle, this kit includes the inner and outer bearings, matching bearing races, grease seal, tang washer, and cotter pin required to service one wheel hub.
The kit uses L44643 bearings in both the inner and outer positions, matched with L44610 bearing races. Dexter identifies the L44643 as a 1.000" ID tapered roller bearing for BT8 spindle applications, providing the correct bearing combination for compatible 2K trailer hubs.
The included 010-003-00 double-lip grease seal, 005-101-00 tang washer, and 019-002-00 cotter pin complete the bearing service components supplied in the original Dexter kit. With both bearing cones, matching cups, seal, washer, and cotter pin packaged together, the K71-715-00 provides a convenient replacement solution for routine trailer wheel bearing maintenance.
