Product Overview:
Equip your electric-brake trailer with the Jammy J-BBK Top Load Trailer Breakaway Kit, designed to provide an independent power source for trailer brake activation if the trailer separates from the tow vehicle. The kit includes a 5Ah battery, removable plastic battery box, breakaway switch, mounting plate, safety strap, and hot and ground wires for installation.
The removable top-load battery box provides convenient access to the battery while helping protect it during normal trailer use. A black powder coated mounting plate and safety strap secure the assembly to the trailer, while the included breakaway switch provides the emergency activation point for the trailer braking system.
The mounting bracket can be installed using either a bolt-on or weld-on configuration, allowing the system to fit different trailer setups. The J-BCH battery charger is not included and must be purchased separately if charging capability is required.
